Medusa™ was originally developed for the shipping industry to eliminate bio-pollution and reduce the economic, environmental, and health risks associated with aquatic invasive species. The technology is an electrochemical disinfection system capable of eliminating more than 98 percent of all biologics and pathogens. Medusa™ technology is an adaptable, effective and environmentally safe system for water disinfection which successfully meets acceptable space, cost and safety requirements for oceangoing vessels.

Every student who has ever taken Biology 101 will recognize the natural process by which Medusa was modeled.
Our scientists examined the large number of anaerobic bacteria that convert organic matter into methane and carbon dioxide in the absence of air. This process is called anaerobic digestion. Medusa mimics a part of the process, known as Hydrolysis. Performed by microorganisms, it breaks down complex organics into smaller molecules by utilizing water to split the chemical bonds of the substances.
The applications for this technology are extensive. Application include: ballast water treatment, hydrogen production, remote/emergency potable water treatment systems, pain therapy, skin health and beauty, municipal and waste water treatment, bio-terror remediation, aquaculture disinfection, livestock waste runoff treatment, pool and aquarium systems, industrial water intake and output treatment systems.
Medusa™ Shipboard Ballast Water Treatment technology is a leader in the ballast water treatment industry. The system is widely respected by both shipping companies and environmental groups for intuitive and efficient technology. Medusa™ offers excellent benefits to oceangoing vessels and shipping companies - saves time and money, improves ship classification, preserves structural integrity, ship speed and safety, reduces environmental liability, and can lower ship insurance premiums.
Who we are
Our current revenue generating products are in the skin care field. By understanding the natural cellular processes and osmoregulation, our subsidiary company, C’watre, was able to create novel skin care products capable of nourishing the skin in ways otherwise unachievable.
